I've got 3 or 4 of these in my coolers and other humidors, never had an issue. They're all reasonably accurate, and I have stuck with the Caliber III's for each new humidor I buy. Picked up another one last week, immediately commenced the salt test, and saw that it was reading about 70%. No big deal, figured I'd make a note that it's -5% off. I took it out of the salt test environment tonight, and it's reading LL.L% From what little I have found online, this means that at some point the temperature and/or humidity fell outside the range of the unit, but that's not possible, since my house isn't a desert, and it's not freezing cold.
Does anyone have any similar experiences? Should I change the batteries, or just replace the unit?
